As a group, we are as varied in our lives as any other segment of society, but we all have the commonality of a love for amateur radio and the many aspects of this great hobby. Our main goal is to promote camaraderie amongst our peers and to provide community service through our organization.

BUY - SELL - TRADE

We will place ads for equipment and other Ham related items.
All Club members can place a maximum of 10 ads per year at no additional cost. Non-members will be required to pay $5.00 per ad, paid in advance (membership has many rewards). Ads will run a maximum of 2 months on the Club Info page. Please provide a short description and any other pertinent information. Your wording may be edited for space contraints. You may also provide a photo, either via mail or a jpeg format via e-mail. Please assure that digital photos are of a low file size. Make sure to provide contact information and a quick contact to the webmaster when your ad is answered. For further information, send an inquiry via the Contact Page. 



Welcome to the Luce Amateur Radio Society website. We hope to let you know about us and perhaps interest you in the amazing hobby and public service of Ham Radio. Our club is open to all amateurs and persons interested in the radio hobby.

Newberry hams first got together in the 1970s to put a repeater on the air, the same 146.61. They formed a loose knit club called the 61 Group.
